JL*SNOW all-weather snowmaking system

Free the snow season from the weather forecast

All-weather Snowfactory

The all-weather snowmaking machine (Snowfactory) complements traditional snowmaking equipment and is designed for indoor and outdoor events, low-altitude areas and top-up snow on ski slopes. Delivered in container form, it can operate as soon as power and water are connected, enabling ski resorts to plan snowmaking and operations more reliably.

A stable snow source for more scenarios

JL*SNOW Snowfactory systems have demonstrated their reliability in many competition-level skiing applications. Whether on alpine slopes, jumps and cross-country trails, or on pistes, the snow produced by JL*SNOW Snowfactory is easy to handle and of excellent quality, providing operators with the safest assurance for their plans.

Making dry ice flakes with cooling technology

Principle: advanced and proven cooling technology uses an efficient heat exchanger to cool water to freezing temperature. The refrigerant is charged into the equipment and stored in a closed, separate circuit, so no chemical additives are used during snow production. The snow consists of dry ice flakes with extremely small volume and particles. JL*SNOW Snowfactory is therefore the only system whose final product contains no moisture at all. The ice flakes are at −5°C (23°F). Because of this low temperature, the snow has a cooling effect and melts very slowly; after grooming with a snow groomer, it can form high-quality, compact snow. JL*SNOW Snowfactory uses high-quality, energy-efficient components throughout, with dimensions designed for a specific cooling circuit.

Plug and play: start snowmaking after connection

No complex structural design or installation is required. The mobile snow factory is delivered to each site in a container and can then be put into operation. Once the power and water connections are completed, snowmaking can begin. The system can work continuously 24 hours a day and is not affected by outdoor weather or local water temperature.

Choose capacity according to site scale

Mature technology allows different models to be supplied. Based on the maturity of the product series and strong technical capabilities, equipment can be manufactured in different models and specifications. This provides the most suitable solution for each application area, with snow delivery extending up to 200 m horizontally and 50 m vertically.

Notes

Data may vary depending on the system and the country of installation; please refer to the electrical drawings.

Water temperature: 5°C.

Air temperature: 15°C.

At higher temperatures, snow output decreases and energy consumption increases.
